Boosters suck. They ruin games. The purpose of ranked is to match equally skilled players and adjust their rank according to whether they win or lose and boosters screw that up. There's no arguing that. They are also NOT the reason you can't gain MMR. You play with boosters on your team as much as you do against them. You compete for MMR with people who encounter boosters as much as you do. Mathematically, boosters cannot affect your MMR because they carry you as often as they carry the opposing team. If gaining MMR is impossible, how do you explain the existence of people who gain MMR? Hell, how do you explain the fact boosters are even able to boost all these accounts if it is impossible? Why are you even talking about Immortal boosters? You don't play Immortal yet you claim boosters ruin your games, and you're pretty far from an Immortal in Dota 2.
I'm assuming you're just mad you can't progress in ranked anymore because you climbed a bit, and stopped playing against people who die in lane because they stand in the creep wave without noticing 50% of their HP is gone. That's not a dark conspiracy. You just got to a rank where you're matched with people who are as good as you are. I bet you don't care if you win because of a booster in your team because you assume you just win due to pure skill, but you care if you lose.
I checked some of your loss streaks, and I'm not seeing any boosters in your games. But I did notice something else. You assume everybody you lose to who played well and has chinese letters in their nickname is a booster.
The current rating system is far from perfect. Even when it was first introduced, it was closer to the classic Elo system used by chess Grandmasters - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system. Why do they keep reinventing the wheel and catering to noobs who don’t want to learn the game but still expect their rank to climb?
I sometimes take breaks from playing for half a year, and when I come back, I always have to go through calibration again. My rating ends up lower than before I stopped playing. To avoid the hassle, I often order calibration from boosters - https://boost-store.com/dota-2/ to save time and nerves, then I can keep playing at my usual rank.
Cmon ad goku. Look my recent matches man . 8 ranked games since i finished single draft punishment. 6 of them i have been mvp . And yet i cant escape crus. I just dont deserve this. My teammates most of time are completely useless . I know when this win streak of mine ends im gonna be teamed with some ck hard support. Every time this happens. And for sure i deserve more than crus or guardian
^^ Being mvp doesn't necessarily mean you played good. I've gotten mvp on mirana just cause I spammed triple arrows in late game in general direction of enemy and they hit the enemies.
Pick any healer hero, spam heals on your teammate - you get mvp.
Catch enemies in dust multiple times in a game - you get mvp.
Also, as I said before,
40% games are free wins
40% games are free loses
20% games is where your impact matters.
You let the free wins inflate your ego into thinking that you are somehow better than your bracket. The instant you start thinking you are better than your bracket, it's the exact instant you stop improving or climbing, cause then you blame all your losses on external factors.
The biggest obstacle to anyone climbing mmr, is the mindset where they assume they are better than their rank.
Even now, I reached Divine 1 and then I got paired with bad players, I'm not gonna waste my time and effort crying about bad players, all I have to do is improve myself enough so that I can accommodate their bad plays. Because, if my team has 4 retards then enemy team has 4 retards, all I gotta do is not be the 5th retard on my team. If I'm better than the 5th player on enemy team, we have a higher chance of winning.
Also, one simple question, let's say you get to archon, what do you think is going to happen? Bad player are going to disappear? The more you climb, the games get harder and you still have to play with bad players no matter what mmr you are at.
