I don't understand why you would break up a team that basically won everything dota has to offer last year. It's the first time it's been done and now you kick out a member? This isn't like football or soccer where rosters are 20-50 people. This is a 5 man team, 1 guy per role.
Maybe it was heroes, but nobody else touched techies at TI and aui won games with him and made people ban him which basically meant fear could grab gyro all day cus they were insta banning lesh/techies/naga every game. Fear can probably transition into a support role but why? And how are rtx and sumail going to coexist on a team? Rtz has huge ego, is he going to hc now while sumail mids? Idk I see strife ensuing the minute and difficulty arises. But ppd and fear seem pretty mature, maybe they will keep the team together.
You literally have no idea how to rank supports. He is easily one of them best and most consistent in terms of performance especially if you rank him on his own and not with a pair (like fy+fenrir)
You guys should understand, this was a greedy move by EG but also necessary. They won TI5 because who did they play at the main event? coL, EHOME, LGD and CDEC. Literally only one team they may struggle against. They didn't play Secret, they didn't play C9, they didn't play Empire, they didn't play VG. These are the teams that gave them most trouble throught the year and they didn't play any of them.
Cdec rocked everyone and eg beat them. Ehome knocked secret into lower bracket didn't they? And lgd knocked out vp so why would eg have issues with them? And it wasn't like eg barely won ti, they gave up on that first cdec series cus they didn't like their draft, other than that they won all series pretty convincingly

Just saying, im an EG fan, and I really like how AUI plays, though the team dynamics can never really be understood completely from the outside. They have plans which they feel are better for them, and the dota community should rather worry about the game and not so much about the team politics. Anyway, it does add drama and stuff, which I can appreciate in this highly competitive space!
I really think that Arteezy would fit better with EG as a person, though not so sure about roles. It may open a lot of other Sumail heros since RTZ can easy play one of the best mids also! Better dynamics, and options, better talent on the whole, why wouldn't they make that choice since it arose?
I love EG and Cloud 9, even though Cloud 9 did bad at TI5, they were still very interesting to watch, their " fuck it, let's play it how it goes " mentality is fun to watch, even though that isn't exactly a mindset that wins big tournaments against actual "organized strategy" teams. XD
