    Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Dota 2 is a game with a global player base, and many of us communicate with teammates from different countries. Some people say that playing online games has helped them improve their English (or other languages) through in-game chat, voice comms, and community discussions.

Have you ever learned new words or phrases while playing?
Do you think gaming can be a useful tool for language learning?
What are some funny or memorable experiences you've had communicating with foreign teammates?
Share your thoughts and experiences! Let's discuss.

Yes, gaming has helped me learn new phrases and improve my understanding of casual English. Communicating with teammates makes language learning feel natural and engaging.

Greetings to all who read my comment. As we all know, games can promote the development of various skills. But I'll focus on English, because Dota 2 is a multiplayer game played by people of different nationalities, but especially the English-speaking segment. At first, I didn't have any English proficiency, and it wasn't until I started playing Dota 2 that I started gradually improving my English by communicating with foreigners. Maybe at first it will be simple words that can be used in a person's life, but after that we can get a result like the average spoken one, so I want to say that any of your interests can help you in the future in various aspects of life.

Dota is my first game in which I encountered a language barrier, I couldn't accurately and quickly tell the information in the game, but literally after 500 playing hours in Dota 2, I started speaking English fluently and overcame the language barrier, at the moment I have over 2000 hours in Dota 2 and I have many new friends from Europe and Asia))
