No such thing as a years old guide with Mars, the hero is pretty new and the game has not changed all that much since he was introduced, I imagine youtube videos are 100% a good place to start. Just play the game and gain experience.

Just as the title said, Instantly fell in love and considered Dota 2 the superior MOBA race.
The first hero I fell in awe with was Mars cause he looks dope, and his gladiator skin looks dope.
Mained offlane because someone said that is Mars' usual lane.
I got murdered 15 times and reported by my teammates.
I only win if my teammate manages to somehow amass 30 kills in a match.
How do I play offlane, Mars, or even Dota 2 properly?
Most of the tutorials or guide I find on youtube is years old already, especially with Mars.
The problems I faced are as follows:
1. Being harassed by long-range heroes in the laning phase, leading to very low cs or, at worst, dying.
2. Not knowing the items I should pick in a situation or matchup, I only followed a strict build in every match I had.
3. I get owned by Unfair Bots in Dota 2 playing as Mars for some reason.
4. High Levelled but dies very quickly?
5. What to do when countered or behind?
6. How do I deal with being alone in a duo enemy offlane?
7. How to effectively use his Arena and not die while inside?
8. Struggling with Mana using Mars
Serious take please, I need someone to explain most of what to do here.
Or if you have any tips please add them.
I have a hard time learning by watching matches, I only get more confused or gain more questions to ask.
Most of the guides I found with Mars are outdated, I don't know which can be still used at the current state of Dota 2.
