Just to be clear i have 10k conduct and these games im getting are also with and against accounts with low games played (most likely smurfs too, hence people call it smurf q) but i cant seem to search about this topic since its a fairly new update.
Do i need to buy a game or maybe do i need dotaplus? need some facts boys
Tip: Don't play any party q games EVER. Never ever... especially before you unlock ranked (100 hours). Only play solo unranked and ranked until you have reached your "actual" ranked mmr.
At this point if you can't find a match or you are stuck in the "smurf bracket" just make a new account. It sucks but I'm pretty sure it's the only way.
I have my friend who make new account, and he queue like 1 to 2 hours just to play a rank game.
Does 1 year dota plus work? im a broke college student i cant mindlessly buy 1 year dplus on my smurf when i dont even consistently buy dota plus on my main.
Making a new account is not an option since this account is my highest smurf i use to practice.
Hmmmm, with the way Valve works I'm wouldn't be surprised if paying for dota plus would work, but results definitely not guaranteed and honestly there is no evidence to back this up. Theoretically since Valve is super greedy, paying for dota plus might work but I wouldn't waste your money especially if you are a broke college student.
I'm not sure why you can't make a new account especially if you are smurfing since it should be relatively easy to get to your "actual" mmr, you'd just have to play 100 hours of unranked which IMO is not too bad. If you use that account to practice it would be good practice to play 100 hours of unranked and practice during that time but you do you.
Unfortunately, other than paying for dota plus (results ARE NOT guaranteed you're probably just wasting your money) or continuing to play in the "smurf q" there is nothing you can do if you refuse to make a new account.
Your acc has to be lvl 40 to find games, also happened to my smurf with similar mmr. d plus or activating steam market doesnt change anything.

hello guys currently this account is in the hidden smurf pool and Q times are very long about 25-45 minutes long.
i havent played this account for 3 months suddenly im getting these games were im matched up as low as divine 1 when this account is at 7020.
Does anyone know how to get out.
and im not some mega smurf who wins all games my main is not far off at 7.1k
