u gain 10 armor only by buying the plate mail for 1,4k u didnt seem to have any problem to float 1,1k for the health booster even before 10 min mark, 4 armor and superior survivability as bristleback with phase boots aswell.
armor => % physical reduce, good for offlaners facing heroes with high dmg but slow attacks along with physical spells such as dazzle, wd, dp
vanguard => % reducing attacks below a certain dmg, good when facing opponent with fast attacks but low dmg.
The reason why I could finish vanguard with the health booster is because I bought the ring first (duh lol). What I mean is, the ring is too good to skip in the laning stage because of the hp regen it gives. Would have never stayed so long in lane and gone like 4-1-2 without it. It's something I do with Axe and Centaur too since I tend to force fights a lot and trade hp, to throw the enemies out of the lane as many times as possible or leave them low and afraid to go for last hits. My hp regens much faster than theirs so they have to go back to fountain and lose xp or waste money on salves and mana to nuke me again. I don't really care about chasing them down with phase and killing them cause I think my strat makes more sense.
you do not buy ring of regen for the 6,5 hp regen, then its better to jsut buyb a ring of tarrasque or finish a hood, the vanguard does nothing in that game
