Mew, pa is a shit laner, stiffing dagger works best with a lane partner. It's not a harassing tool, low base damage as a melee hero in mid you'll get fucked in your ass.

Pa is not that bad on laning. You can still get 45-50 cs on a hard lane. But Imo its a situational pick. She is quite bad vs nuke dmg and very good bs physical and DOT. Also good as gap closer. So it makes her situational.

It really depends on the matchup but the few PA mid I've played with or against managed to get their deso timing pretty early and to snowball afterwards by just pressing Q and one shooting supports.

If the ennemy laner is something that is not a threat and PA get can free exp + last hits, it can (not saying it's broken AF or the most optimal choice) be acceptable if she reaches her timing soon enough.
I'm thinking about those picks like alchemist that will just max greevil greed and Q into rad/battlefury (which don't provide him armor). Your team and the PA obviously need to contest the alchemist in order to prevent him to get out of control.

However, if she does small mistakes (even a ranged creep denied by ennemy), it can turn into a hell spiral for her as she has no builtin flash farming cap until lvl 15 talent.
It needs to be near to perfectly executed in terms of rune control, denying + csing the creeps, not getting ganked.

Mk, clinkz has no flash farm ability but can do fine. Also i really dont see why a mid laner need flash farm ability in order to play the lane. A pa can work out, with a quick deso u v a killer available for making space while u can leave the farming part for the safe laner. U also get faster levels in a solo lane and u need to get the crit asap.
Im not saying pa mid is good in every situation, never did, my honest opinion of the hero is that its not one of the better but if its played i personally believe that it can have the highest impact as a midlaner

Does pa work well against invoker mid btw? I never played mid vs invoker and lost as pa i think but i dont remember if it was because the invoker was bad with the hero or smth, im not a pa player i should say im just talking about my experience of plating with and against the hero

When to pick PA?
When enemy don't have heavy nuke line up, enemy don't have enough disable to chain stun you, enemy are squishy hero, and you need gap closer hero, or there is PL ( countering PL with cleave is much easier with PA than sven , sven is just dogshit now )

Friend is wrong. Generally, Pa's time to shine is the second she gets her bkb, doesn't mean she doesnt scale well later but no she can't come back from any situation late game if played correctly.

Did he reach back to gis usual level on the smurf though? Its more key to know if it works on the level he uses to play, give me guardian acc and i should be able to climb to crusader-archon pretty fast spamming pa mid only but perhaps not the same level as my main.
A higher level player will win cause of other factors rather than pick and build. I saw a clip of bulldog once winning mid making 6 crystalus on pa, on his smurf though it seemed like he was divine i think

@tyski she can shine without bkb, shits just even more important to have it as safe laner because its more crucial to the team if the pos 1 is dying. Risk is higher until bkb of course!
