Since the beginning of time Lina was always ez Viper hero. If you are not sure with Lina in this patch take OD and shit on him.
And also trifecta of evil range boys that Viper cant trade with Sniper Morph Clinx
its not ur job as mid to counter someone going afk in the jungle. i just pick invoker and freefarm the lane
^wasnt viper the lifetime counter of invoker?! why would he abandon the lane to him
okay seriously how do you counter this hero if you not invoker player? you pick medusa and afk farm the whole game too? does medusa even can fight this monster?
You cant counter viper because he’ll shit on the jungle and go back with graves, radiance n glimmer cape at 10 minutes later
A good viper can never be beaten in the lane. If he feel threatened, he can always go to jungle and farm.
But, later in the game you can beat him. Sniper, OD, Invoker, even SF can rekt him to oblivion.
Viper is very strong with his teammate though. You cant manfight him 1v1. A good team clash can though. Pick hero that is good against him. (Slardar, Ezalor, Grimstroke, ET)
Honestly the best way to counter Viper is to pick a greedy mid. In the current meta Viper tends to farm the jungle giving u uncontested farm for periods of time. Hard carry ranged heros are prettt good imo; Sniper, Drow, Medusa.etc. Only problem is these are also heros that tend to be stationary in teamfights so can get nethertoxined to hell!

From my experience bat is pretty nice. My teammate picking dazzle mid and beating him.. idk maybe the enemy is just bad.
