One Helm of the Dominator grants a total of 40 health, 1.43% health regen amplification, 0.33 armor, 7 attack speed, 24 mana, 4% mana regen amplification and 0.14% spell damage. It also has a 900 AOE aura that grants 8 health regeneration and 20 attack speed
your hero has summons = hotd boots your sustain and your dps on a really good ratio regarding how cheep it is
No need to overthink. Best early game item for heroes with summons. Good for pushing with Attack speed
I play Visage and I'm not rushing HotD. Maybe I should try it (I think I'm good on microing units)
Does the grave chill buff also gives to your dominated creeps? The +32% MS is a big help on chasing, especially if that creeps is a Centaur
Legit item. last 3 visage mid games were complete stomp fests.
I used to think it would delay atos but it really just helps you farm heros faster. Tomato bear and satyr help nuke waves. Net troll helps gank and the aura/stats are really worth it on this hero.

Idk, I find it useful. I'm sure there are 5k's with way better micro skills than me who can keep their birds 3k distance away and still manage to get kills. I get it more or less for the following:
-In teamfights as a way of telling the team: 'go after this fool'
-Breaking Linkens, since if you're on a godlike, people tend to start to build it.
-If you have just used your birds, it is still a way to stun/catch fleeing heros
-also a good way of initiating on solo heros. Atos, bird right click, stun, stun, W, Then q and right click. If you have another set of birds up, you can spawn them as well to more or less repeat.
annother underated thing apart from using it too push (you solar crest the helm creep and hit the tower with the birds).
It helps you farm away from your birds, if you use your birds too push a sidelane you can farm the jungle with your helm creep quite effectively.

Yes, I could download and watch 5x replays. That would probably take me a couple of hours to do so i'm asking DB if anyone knows right off the bat.
My sense is to use the wolf or tomato bear to buff the birds attack speed or the net troll/mud golems as a sort of poor mans Atos to stun and then follow up with birds and W but if there's some theorycrafting that I'm missing here, please do tell.
