General DiscussionBest item against PL?

Simple support items really:
Glimmer cape
Ghost Scepter --> Etheral Blade

But late game you cant defend against a farmed PL, if he has dust you are fucked 100%

If your team didn't draft/itemize against PL properly, then chances are the game is screwed anyway.

However, building armor is to best way to mitigate damage, as PL's dmg is mainly Physical. Crimson Guard would be nice too, as it negates a LOT of the PL illusion dmg, though their mana will still be burned by Diffusal.

Chemotherapy

solar crest is the best against pl. force staff has more utility in general and against more heroes though.

There should be an item which reduces Mana loss in an area, Kaya plus hood maybe or Kaya plus aether lens. Solution: Wait for next patch or the next next patch. PS : you are welcome !

Crest/glimmer/force

You need something to clear illusions. Battlefury does a lot of damage with your passive but I'm not sure if it's enough to one shot all the illusions. Maybe you need 2 battlefuries, desolator and Daedalus. Hope for a lucky crit. Watch PL become helpless without his illusions.

as bounty, you have to rely on your team. probably they are building Battlefurry or Mjollnir, but i think your track skills is a already a big help to find the real PL. force staff and ghost scepter is your utility in case shadow walk is not available at the time of disengagement.

Crimson guard is pretty good and underrated for negating a large portion of his damage, but then you have to worry about his diffusal mana burn.

I think as a defensive item which grants armor and aoe shivas is pretty nice against pl and bm and ghost scepter is good too since Nullifier won't be purchased on pl so there aren't many purge options in the game
