im the same, when im forced to play mid i either pick necro or viper. very easy heros to play
Dragon Knight is pretty straightforward and simple mid. Easy to use, land, and understand abilities, high survivability, good nuke for farming if you're bad at last hitting.
BS is pretty brain dead, if you can last hit, it's very hard to die in lane and very easy to get both a fuckload of denies and last hits. BS is a melee viper at this point in terms of how much he can secure last hits and deny with thirst + bloodrage. Just make sure to get the quelling blade/boots/raindrops as soon as you need them, because you can still lose mid pretty hard against some matchups if you're caught a bit off guard.
Pugna. I even recommended it to lawlie but she ins't using the cute skeleton. He's strong and one of the most basic mids

I usually let peruvian invoker instalockers play mid in my games but sometimes I am forced to mid. With the battle pass queue I've taken up hero spamming to improve certain aspects of my game against the .3k players I get matched with as a 2k player, but I wanted to do that with a mid hero to learn in cases I need to play mid. Which mid is good generally without many counters but isn't Invoker or meepo?
