yeah but u can just sell it eventually. and until that point it gives you massive value
It just doesn't seem like he can utilize the item like other heroes
Yea double blink hex seems amazing but ds/bat/void/any initiator can make the most out of the item without needing to get 6k gold to get hex
ill explain why i like it
so aw needs to not get jumped, because he is slow, low armor, long range hero who excels when not disabled so he can cast spells and items
however, his clone is expendable, and wants to be close enough to the fight to cast flux and begin right clicking immediately
blink lets you hide in trees or uphill, and still have your clone right clicking from weird angles that splits the fight up. this lets you immediately begin dealing damage without risking your main. you then have the ability to make another jump with your main when you see an opportunity.
sb/pike are typically bought for similar reasons (in my experience) along with stats, and while force on aw is pretty ridiculous it doesn't give you the same ability to immediately take an opportunity to jump into right clicking from a distant safe position
also this lets you split your clone and main up by a huge amount, which reduces the typical double stun from burrowstrike/storm hammer/hoofstomp type spells to 0
i don't like it because it gives no stats, shadow blade lets you run into the enemy jungle whenver you want
while hurricane pike lets your clone force the warden so if something like bara were to charge you, you can use your clone to save your warden.
blink just lets you close more distance.
It would've been reliable if his other skills correlated like tinkers. But its still way too fun to skip against morphs or giving low mmr players a mini heartattack

very fun
you get blink hex/orchid as well. in addition to the obvious benefits
i used to play exclusively pike/sb aw but i feel like blink lets you keep your main way further back and still dps with it when there is an opportunity
it's pretty rare however, why?
