i don't think that hes the best midlaner right now but hes up there in terms of being the best mid laner.
he is 100% the best meepo , but i don't think he is the best player ,still think that sumail or miracle- are better midlaners
There is no "best dota 2 player". Miracle, abed, w33, s4, dendi, mushi, sumail, ana etc. are all fantastic mid-laners and have shown their brilliance from time to time. You said "right now" so perhaps one could make the argument that right now Abed/Miracle are on another level as compared to Dendi/s4 (esp since s4 has even shifted to offlane) but generally I would disagree. They are all good players even today, just a bit rusty compared to the newer/younger talents.

Define "best".
"Best" as in the highest mmr player rn? Then yes.
"Best" as he would carry his team winning most of his games and tourneys? Probably not, you cant easily label one person as best player in a team game of 5v5.
Look, he was born in year 2000 and he is the youngest player to reach 10k mmr, but suma1l is the youngest player who has earned the most money from playing dota

Not as consistent as Miracle during his prime, but still he is very fucking good. T1 mid material for sure.
Once you get past about 8.5K, MMR is less accurate at representing your skill and more accurate at representing how good you are at grinding and how much effort you're willing to put in to raise it. The difference between a 9K and a 10K player in skill in nothing like the difference between 3K and 4K for example.
sumail doesn't play solo ranked. midone was same way, then he decided to pump his mmr to over 9k. Any of the core position pros could easily get their mmr over 9k if they really wanted to but it takes a lot of time and effort which could be better spent training with their team
He's got a good future ahead of him and is a probably ti winner at some point but grinding mmr is a lot easier than winning ti.
He needs more big game experience before being declared a great.
MMR in that range doesn't represent skill anymore, it's just how good you are winning with randoms, while playing against randoms.
Best current player?
Hard to tell really. Top players in my oppinion are thus far:
Miracle-, Mind_Control, ana, cr1t and Zai.
Best meepo player is Jed, the guy is not human when he plays meepo.
I believe Best players are those who have won TI regardless if they are getting left behind in the current meta (Dendi for example), or players that have won cosecutive majors.
Don't you get the feeling he's a medium difficulty "bot"? I can't really explain it.
People really don't give notail and fly enough credit. They might not be as flashy as some other players but their teams win all the time. They draft right, play right to their draft, they setup miracle and ana to win. Miracle's teams have been disapointing since he left og, and ana was a raw player who's now a major winner. It's all cus of notail and fly's experience with dota.
I don't think he's as good as Sumail or even Arteezy (back when Arteezy played mid), but I think he's right under them. You can tell this is like a second coming of Sumail back when he stormed DAC. I would only say that Sumail/Arteezy and other top tier midlaners are better because they have more experience, but I think within a year or two Abed will be established enough to be called one of the best midlaners.

Do you think abed is the best dota 2 player right now? Since he is the first and the only guy with 10k. What about miracle, ana, sumail, midone etc. Do you think abed is better than them? I think most of them performed better than abed thought.
