Take the small population of high MMR players in Australia and further divide it up into ranked and international ranked, and this is what you get. I'm not sure there's much anyone can do about it short of disabling ranked on Australia to consolidate it into the SEA server...

Yeah being 5k solo it's not uncommon being pulled into high, or very low games on Australia servers. If I was to comment...I would say Ana is slightly above average in skill.
Just a shame because if axe wasn't intentionally feeding I think we might have had a chance, timber and slardar were obviously good but the arc/cm and lich were pretty average.
In all honesty, even if I got crushed I wished Ana went mid just so I could see a 9k mid player for myself, the arc wasn't a contest at all in mid.
intl ranked games are kinda coinflip right now, regardless of server. made the mistake of queueing late on peru east server and got paired against some guys from team infamous, and a few days back there was a 5 stack team with tier 8 battlecup trophys, but sometimes you also get to play against legit 3-4K players. it might get better over the next month.

okay guys, i recommend all sub 9k scrubs to watch this match. the outplays are real. slardar kills both silencer and jugg baiting them on 50 hp in a 1 v 2 lane, 1.30 mins into the game. gets lvl 3 while they are both lvl 1.
gets a fucking triple kill 1 v 3. under radiant's tower. wtf

You dont divide the player base into ranked and international ranked.... It's all one big que players who que for ranked can get matched with people who qued international ranked :D

sadly, i get this summer's compendium only for international ranked, i calibrated as 4.333 like you with 7 wins and 3 loses at tbd's after tbd i always got ruiners, feeders, the guy who took carry but tilt as f... etc. even i play as offlane against at least 2 person against me and farm very well , my team lost their tri-lanes against timber... and i dropped down 4.1k. the thing about international rank is u always have people between 3.6k and 4.5k solo real mmrs in your team, but against 5k and 6k players. tell me valve , how i m supposed to win a game with this condition? im tired and bored to play dota2.
dude ive won a lane as slark solo against offlane tinker cm while we had 2 junglers pre 700.
ive also won a 1v3 offlane as legion against cm underlord and mirana.
@verona lol , basically low 5ks is no different with high 4ks but not all low 5ks is bad , i say like this bcs alrdy matchup with them and 6ks r not human anyway .

I've had a Bane do exactly the same a couple weeks ago. Also slept his allies in positions to get them killed. "I need to get to LP"
I've also read some accounts farm reports to get to LP to do some matchmaking shenanigans. Don't know how true that is though.

Had the most ridiculous international ranked game of my life.
On my team we had an axe who literally from the start of the match just kept feeding over and over and then at the end said "all report me I want to go to low priority.."
On their team we see OG.Ana ... a 9k in a 4k average match...
International ranked is completely off with it's mmr system, i'm literally bouncing between 3k average and 5k average games, it makes no sense (callibrated at 4.3k).
