veil is the suboptimal farming item where u actually have a team behind your back that deals a moderate amount of magic damage
i'm pretty sure he doesnt use the veil to use scream on teamfights, he waits patiently to maximize it with his team
its insanely good with a crystal on your side and worth
why buy a midas to fam creeps when u can buy a veil so ur team farm heroes? work smart not hard
its literally viable on any hero except clone-based, luna and tinker (i would not be surprised if suddenly it starts being useful on tinker too)

"oh it doesnt transition well into later stages" WELL WHAT A SURPRISE IT COSTS 275G
"oov will delay your build" welp apparently increasing the movement speed slow by 12% and increasing the dot by 2 made the item INSANELY worth it for reasons that i can't possibly identify. the thing is, IT WORKS so DAMN WELL. i'm pretty sure i would have won my last pudge game if i had a 0 minute oov instead of an 10 minutes soul ring.
not only that: with an oov, the "lets go lategame i want to play dota for 3 hours!" item, deathballing strats are not only more viable but also have a way better 'backup plan' in case you dont get megas at the 19 minute mark EVEN THO it COUNTER ITSELF WITH COMEBACK GOLD MECHANICS (the higher your networth the more you lose, thanks icefraud Kappa)
i think the most amazing fact of the oov patch is that it brought back sb when everyone thought the hero was completely trash and couldnt win games in any way
the tip of the icecream is that when the patch came out people claimed "o shit they finnaly nerfed boots thanks gaben i'll never see sb again in my pubs for a long time" well thats where you're wrong pleb its even more viable now
sumail goes veil on qop regardless of team comp, u haven't even seen him do it.
obv u don't use veil to farm u numbskull u use it to fight, which u don't use midas for.
you USE veil to farm its the only thing it works for
it gives regen and amps damage, its literally the definition of farming item
is sumail the only qop picker in the world? and he fucking does it for the team man i'm sure
midas is way better, hes a storm player he has to be greedy right no way he would simply skip a midas
u do scream on creeps u just don't need veil to do it.
veil can be used to make creeps die faster but ur braindead if u think its only a farming item.
and how can u be sure sumail does it for the team, u have ur own vision of dota and are desperately trying to validate it when it is just not true.
