to take highground i have to take at least 5 sentries with me. also at every tower push. delete this hero from dota only makes matches miserable and +60 minutes long
honestly the way is to pick a hero like lycan, take towers so fast techi doesnt even get the chance to stack bombs n shit
or illusion heroes/minion heros, blow up all the mines with those. Which lycan is that also.
Techies should be deleted in dota

Honestly Ogre did'nt help me wards and supporting much so I get my aghs late . He always let me buy sentries and wards. And I always die on that fucking mines wew! And the worst thing is that magnus always RP 1 hero only :(
They have techies + mega creeps and we only have throne to defend. They still have 1 set of racks how to win :( even if we buy necro books and gems techies still to unstoppable . And they also have drow late game . With aghs :(
About what did you said about lycan and illusion stuffs are not viable for our game because techies last picked his hero.
I mean, my average game time goes up by only about ten muntes. He can stall, but he is not as cancerous as a shot ton of other heroes. I hope I go against all of you. And win like usual

Techies just requires detection and a ranged hero, at least for remote mines.
tnik and sniper's t3 tower defense is cancerous indeed but tech's base defense is stronger in general because he can cover your whole base
i get dominator. dominate a the purge satyr and scout around to destroy mines while im farming
I've been learning Brood. I play with a friend, and one of his heroes is techies. I was thinking a brood/techies offlane could be quite good in pubs (lower bracket pubs). You'd want to ban KotL and maybe Lion, but seems like there is some potential. Any horrible weaknesses there?
The weakness is in having brood share a lane. Brood thrives by gobbling farm and levels early and the last thing she wants is someone else in lane sucking xp. If you are doing your job as brood, the enemy heroes asses are glued to the tower And you have killed them twice in the first 5 mins.
Beyond that brood shuts down the entire enemy jungle so theres no point in mining it. You are literally suggesting you pair the earliest of early game heroes with the latest of late game. It wont work
