sumail at least did his job, he's not supposed to take down the towers. Weaver is. He did nothing and thought he was some kind of razor or some shit. He was NOT. Sumail did way more than he should've that game and kept being relevant throughout the whole game even though they sucked. They had tons of chances to push, trade corpses for towers too against the remaning heroes but they couldn't, guess why, YEAH, cause fuckteezy didn't get the fucking deso. Sumail was tank enough and liquid shit didn't even have skills off cd to punish them for it. But heeeey lets go maelstrom, not even bother on a late deso either and ignore their structures, who cares, i can "supposedly" farm the creeps and naga illusions faster with maelstrom KEK!
That's like asking a core mirana to rush diffu against omni instead of focusing on the fucking scepter first. Game ruining shit right there.
It's not the mid's role to finish a game. It's to open up for it and he did a perfect job. He's not on a fucking meepo or krobe.
Idk if you are trolling us or just completely stupid but if you look at how eg is playing this tournament but they are treating sumail with the most farm, making him play as a pos 1 not arteezy. How else will you expect to clear naga illusions if he rushed a deso? They were simply out played by miracle delaying the game and blaming this loss on arteezy is stupid.
There are certain roles people play. There are certain objectives each of these roles have. Especially in dota. They may vary across games, different tactics and so on but EG's picks were standard. Offlane axe for attention/tank. Support monkey for space/disruption, SUpport sp to augment/improve tankyness. Mid sf for nuke, pace the game, be a frontrunner and pew pew pew. And finally carry weaver, known for high tower dmg to close the game by the free space his team is giving him. His role was clear, ignore weaver focus on structures, if something comes up axe is there, if he fucks up sp is there. If they want commit hardcore on him sf takes over and rapes them all by the space created by him. Pretty simple dota. But he couldn't play his part. They ended with a useless weaver that could only kill creeps all game and served like a squishy roaming lacklusting splitpushing with no threat creep. So they lost.
If sf was to take the frontrun and also do the structural dmg (cause weaver was unable to), like they tried a couple of times, he'd lose hp for next to nothing. Weaver would just stand there and watch after all he can't attack with a maelstrom and risk a double feed standing next to sumail and also hitting (negligible dmg too). Not worth it at all. So they lose.
No, they weren't outplayed by naga. They outplayed themselves. And sumail is not hiding behind anyone, he's in the front, he's not treated at all as your core with most farm.
Is strategy too hard for you to understand? Do you think you can 1v5 in dota? Do you really expect sumail to do everything with an sf? Are you serious right now?
This is pretty simple really. Did you predict eg to lose min <20 like i did? Did you predict s4 to feed with secret at TI? did you predict shit puppey picks? did you predict col would lose when they didnt ban abaddon? No. There's a reason eg beat mason's team 3-0 in a bo5 by banning abaddon all 3 games. So instead of continuing with your line of reasoning you should take this and turn yourself into a better player instead of throwing bullshit whining dunning kruger statements at me. Realize there's more to dota than you actually see.
