After that, you need at least 500 hours mid with general heroes.
Then you need about 300 hours on Invoker to be DECENT.

Pro? Um. 1000 hours after your 2000 hours of sucking at DotA.

It really depends on what bracket u start learning the hero. Learning in normal skill probably learn nothing

for me atleast around 50 match to get use to all the spell, and the more you use it the easier it gets

Do 50 bot games to get the muscle memory. THEN, do unranked 100 unranked games, then go ahead into ranked with Invo.

200 u will be able to cast spells without thinking about the combination...muscle memory will do it for you.
So I would say around 400 games with him...and the more u understand other heroes the better u can lane with invoker.
And decision making....that is just something you gain over time.

Buy midas...scepter...bot's ...blink....octarine....linkin or bkb...refresher...and you can win in 30 mins. And you'll probably be lvl 25 in 30 mins or less

its all about ur dota general skill and then the way u adapt things and stuff,

^that "invoker is not a fucking dk" thingy is kinda wrong unless we consider some garbage bracket
taking only decent players into account, invoker is generally way, way easier than a lot of less mechanically complex heroes; the importance of mechanical skill kinda falls of as ur personal level increases.
