So, how do I prevent this from happening? In my last 3 lycan matches we had good map control up to mid game but then my team basically 'waits' for the enemy to farm and win. I know whining bout my team isn't gonna do anything so what can I do in this situation?
im pretty sure on dire id rather kill lg camp stack clear ancients and kill lg camp again than clear the 3 main jungle camps x2, plus the bottom medium camp on dire is pickoff city
or for example dire antimage can either kill 2 waves + offlane hardcamp and safelane hardcamp or clear the whole jungle, id rather do the former afaik (then you can rotate to ancients -> bottom dire medium camp or back into the lane for 1 wave then up into the jungle)
yea usually u end up looking for kills in such a situation

it's not creeps>ancients>neutrals
it's neutrals>creeps>ancients
due to the quantity + quality, rather than just quantity or just quality
for banana: ward their jungle and kill them, obviously
^ what you're saying is, if you could just farm creeps and jungle endlessly without dying, you would just do so and avoid going to ancients?
i calculate per minute and dependant on what's available, if everything's available then take everything
but it also depends on the starting and end point of the farming pattern and the speed of which you farm
