i've already said this, you're put in over the limit first match which is described by your unranked mmr

you can't perform better than the limit, so your mmr drops drastically

so play worse in unranked on your next smurfs to get a lower start if you want a 4.8-5k calib

cookie wahts your final calibrated mmr?

i usually calibrate between 4.5-4.8

ive been calibrating accs here and there, first game on this,
tbd was average 5.9-6k next 5.5 next 5.5 and average rest games were about 5-5.2k resulting a final calib of 4792

^how many years ago was that?
this info is kinda irrelevant cz u dont get to games with 5k+ average since 2nd calibration game, even if you are a 9k player

I just finished calibrating this account in china server ending just 4775. I remember my first tbd game was 5.4 average mmr and I'm the highest mmr on the radiant showing that it is TBD while the highest mmr on the dire was 6099 we end up losing the game and my second game drop to 4.8 average and later on 4.7 4.6 and the lowest average mmr i've played was 4.4 and my last two games was 5.2 and 5k. here's my first calibration game https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/2783788950. the TB player is their highest mmr player and now he has 6.3mmr.

the TBD system can register your play as a certain MMR, but will never register ur play as above X mmr, where X is ~4.9

so if ur first TBD game ur over 4.9, u are doomed to drop even if you go 50/0/0 and have 9999999 hero tower damage ending the game in 10 minutes
