so I like to a-click the ground so that my hero continues to attack a neutral camp, and I can watch somewhere else (because I turn off auto attack). But when I a-click the ground near a camp it always ends up targeting a creep for some dumb reason. Then after killing that creep my hero stops. Any way to prevent auto targeting of creeps. I Usually have to find a sweet spot further from the camp to prevent this from happening which is so retarded.

or you could turn standard autoattack back on :D

You play with auto attack? I always get a good laugh at the people who try to juke but then their hero attacks out of the fog.

But why does a-click on the ground target creeps instead of the ground. It doesn't make sense

U cant attack the fucking ground. A-clicking says it will send ur hero to attack the closest creep. Its in the fucking description. This thread is autism

the "standard" one that only autoattacks after a cast spell or when u finish killing one creep, sometimes it fucks you up

not the full one that fucks everything up for me

              Shou

Basically standard means if u a click a camp itll kill the whole camp. But it wont keep itching to kill something if u ever walk near a creep.

Dad pls stop. U r giving me autism with ur autism.

It used to be an attack command so ur hero moves to a general area with the command to attack whatever in that area. But it auto selects a creep nearby, attacking only that creep, instead of anything nearby in that vicinity. How is the former not the more intuitive scenario? It should just apply the command whereever im clicking it, and not to go and auto select a nearby creep. FYI attacking the ground still works in case U don't know. Just that it is annoying because it won't let u do it properly anymore

Ah well I don't like standard as well cuz u attack after a spell isn't it the same thing. U may end up wasting an auto attack on a creep instead of a proper target.

It never used to be like that. Your hero will start moving towards the point and if anything hostile enters it's auto acquisition range (800 mostly I think) it will attack that unit. Sometimes you are close to creeps already and it will just attack them(it will still got to the target point afterwards). You should try to shift-queue move command + auto-attack at your target point so that won't happen. Also, there's a "smart attack move" option (or something like that) in advanced options that lets you select an area to attack, but I'm not sure how that works.

Now get out of here with this autistic thread.
