U could first improve your last hitting to carry harder. Then only u can get good item builds on sf and win the game for u.
farm as fast as you can. the hero thrives on outfarming people and showing up to fights up 1 item and several levels
As sf you need to be at top on last hitting, until 15 minutes, or before your ganking itens.
If you rly want to play sf, you could win in low MMR for sure.
This is what sf needs.
Stats, he has no stats.
Attack speed, he naturally has high right click damage , so if he can attack faster it scales well , while you farm up more late game items.
MOST IMPORTANT ITEM IN THIS HERO IS....
BLACK KING BAR.
Sf has to stand still in order to ult and attack people. And he has no natural escape or tank spells. So he is easily susceptible to burst dmg of all kinds ,
He needs Bkb every single match.
Shadow blade , silvers edge, manta, Daedalus, sange n yasha, mkb, butterfly, skadi, ac,
Think of him as a carry who will die fast if a few spells are thrown at him and he gets focused for a second.
Morph has morph ability ,
Sven has armor buff
Jugf has healing ward
Ember is evasive
Spectre has her passive that reduces damage
Medusa has tank spells
Terror blade has his ult
Legion has healing and life steal
Wk has life steal and ult
Carries usually have a way of helping tbem stay alive. If they don't., BUY BKB.
Sf doesn't have a skill that helps him stay alive.

SF is a glass cannon hero pretty much, he dies really quick, has piss poor HP, shit damage starting, but once you get souls that changes.
He needs
Attack speed
Mana
Health
SnY is good, gives you speed and HP but if you're dealing with an enemy hero that has any spells or buys any item that can fuck you get Manta.
Shadow blade is kind of a shit item on him right now, only get it when youre dealing with a PA, axe, timber, bristle, to make it into Silver edge and break their passives.
of course, bkb is a must if the enemy has dangerous disablers or nukes, like a morph or timber
And its not just his starting strength which is piss poor. Fucker starts with 1 armor. 1!! God damn this hero is squishy as fuck. The trending mid pa eats him alive with dagger spam. I like to rush RoA over bottle on him. Is that a good idea. Is it viable to skip bottle completely if contesting the runes is very dangerous and ur team isnt giving u vision? Because I usually skip bottle for this reason and just focus on stat items
You can do without bottle but the reason you go mid is to have control over the runes, the runes can often change the game early on, if you don't go bottle then go safe lane
If you are ahead and farming good early game, you can rush dagger.
lvl 7 (solo mid) max razes with dagger allows you to instagib pretty much any hero using the triple-raze combo.
Seen some good SF playrs do that (dagger is very good on him regardless, so...)
I think it works even if you get th3 dagger at around min10 - after treads and aquila/DL (to get treads/DL/Ďagger at this timing I think you must abuse the extensive multi-stacks of neutral creeps).
I like going dragon lance>blink/sb/manta>bkb most games. The hero is way too overreliant on his bkb timing to be effective honestly. I dont like sny much on him anymore at all.

Sf imo needs a buff. Ever since he can't flash farm with raze he's been harder to carry with. He's okay for now, but I'm not a big sf player either

Too easy to counter and doesn't flash farm as fast as he used to

wagamama played razeless sf once. only stats + aura + souls for your early physical dmg advantage

Every time I play this hero, I get my ass carried, or I can't carry hard enough myself. I could use some good game tips from good Shadow Fiend players.
