How do you set both quick cast and normal cast on spells? I thought it's not possible anymore?
Quick cast on all spells except chrono and stone remnant and 4 item slots
Ayakami theres an option for advanced quickcast bindings
Quickcast is really bad on Io. Also you want to keep two item slots without quickcast for Force Staff and TP scroll.
P.S. Quickcast doesn't work properly with Toss (Tiny).
i use it on everything except for stuff where you select the AoE like chrono, sleight of fist, overwhelming odds, shrapnel, etc.
us cool kids have quickcast for Q W E R and normal use Alt+Q Alt+W etc.
apart from a couple of aoe abilities where it is useful to know the exact boundaries like chrono and spin webs, what benefit (apart from habit) does not using quick cast have?
i do sometimes think i'm tping to base and end up a couple of hundred units from where i was though. double-tap fail.

Apart from zeus, and tinker, it's not really that usefull. Inventory is a fucking NO in quickcast, as it remove some very important aspect, such as the double tap tp. (dunno if you can have a part of your inventory in quickcast, and an other part in normal cast, in which case it could be okey to have partly quickcast on inventory)
you can still use items for quickcast, there's a setting where alt + hotkey self casts so you just do that instead of double tapping.
all abillities, i use it on 1 inventory item (3rd slot Key is C) i dont like some items always being quickcast (Euls, i prefer a double tap so i dont use quickcast)

Maining on tinker, i have at least 4 keys stuck on quickcast with an alternative normal cast (ex., my blink has quickcast spacebar and a normal cast F for double tap to blink back to fountain's direction), and the other 2 on normal cast with no corresponding quickcast mainly because I'm too lazy to look for free buttons and designate them. Also quickcast QWER, but I go back to legacy on most other heroes.
Quick cast shd be used for everything that doesn't requir double tap for self cast.
Exceptions are toss and sleight of fist with the visual aid makes it easier.
quick cast is annoying when ur tping to base, often your mouse is nowhere near the base and u tp to the nearest tower
other than that its pretty useful
if you find yourself messing up double-click tp to base, you just need to have one inventory slot that isn't set to quickcast and always put your tp in that slot.

I've tried it on meepo it so good but not good on items like tp boots played a game with meepo now blink poof is much easier with it but still need to improve my farming efficiency on this hero i am using 1 for main 2 for all 3 for other 4 for 2 and 3 - 5 for 4th and 5th meepo but sometimes i am afraid to split them to farm the jungle 2 for each camp main farming lane any tips to improve it would be nice thanks :)

Quickcast is great for Avalanche+Toss combo, but I found it difficult to throw heroes far away. It may be just me and my crooked hands...
I'm amazed anyone can blink-poof with 5 meepo without using quick cast. So much harder synchronising both hands rather than just tab-w-tab-w etc.
phhew.. quickcast rules everytime and on every hero
even void if u practice chrono a bit
double-tap > alt+key = no problems with tp home
