its depend on the player style. maybe he want to full damage besides defend

Some carries dont need bkb, 2 or 3 btw :P

Bazit said that he plays support and there is some pesky stunner that ruins life of his carry, but this carry refuses to buy BKB just for that. Most logical solution for support is to buy Lotus Orb.

Did anybody bother to look at OP's rant and the fact that the last time he played an actual support was 32 of his games ago?

Actually, I'm very proud of my last game as Omni. Even enemy team admitted that me and OD were the most valuable players.
Just look:

I think I did my best as a support here: vision, bait and all the skills were on point. This fight became a turning point for my team after a rough start.

Not every game every phase bkb is a must for carry. Namely, the enemy have no stun at all, their controlling skills ignore bkb, your team have an omni, you have sufficient control but seriously lack dps, your carry is morph, spec, slark, pl, ember;

You can get away without bkb in some games with your positioning.

BKB is effective in fights, Lotus Orb not so much, Spellblock and Orb synergize, though.

avoid team fights, avoid getting disabled/stunned. be like the riki guy here, wait it out then clean the remainder

u can max first spell on abaddon though but it requires a very weird pkaystyle, and its definetely not safelane supp abaddon
