Pick heroes that can focus objectives (like wr/invoker) so if you are better but your team is feeding you still can carry them.

Also maybe you fooled around map after getting advantage rather then pressing it, happens with 3k players.
Well we were never really in the driving seat. I was pretty farmed but my team wasn't.
