Just kidding
Also, this one is actually from the 2010's, but you wouldn't be able to tell as it sounds extremely 70's
zano I liked both, the second one is more my style though. Thanks for sharing.
@high dog Yeah, that's a good piece.
It doesn't have "the abuse" section though.
idk though, you gave such a big range; there was so much good music made between 70s and 90s.
Led Zeppelin
Queen
AC/DC
Deep Purple
Cleedence Clearwater Revival
Black Sabbath (Ozzy)
Megadeth
Dio
Pink Floyd
Santana
Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
Motorhead
it's endless
Hey mokujin nice music taste, Dire Straits is pretty good Sam give it a try.
Anyway here is some of my favorite songs.
Slighty Stoopid, kind of a mix of reggae/rock/punk.
Sublime - Santeria, a classic.
Another classic
Weezer
and one punk song that I really like
'Tis the band responsible for Iron Maiden's existence.
Totally 70's, but this one is to balance out all the testosterone posted so far.
The silliest, cheesiest, 80'est song ever made.
Guys these are all very decent, but just won't do. I'm just very picky about music I think. Even the one I like the most out of these is still worse than the worst Metallica song for me. I think I'm just obsessed at this point. So if it's not some utter masterpiece or something, I probably won't listen to it continuously. Or maybe it has something very special I like.
Maybe posting something more specific than "Please make it be between 1970-1990s and if later, make it be a type of rock or metal, maybe punk. Even blues/jazz/folk is fine" would help" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I don't know what to post now though, I was always one of the weirdos who never liked Metallica that much (in a metal music circle, of course). ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I mean, it's not about years or genres I guess. It's just how I grew up. My best friend in elementary school, high school and even college all like Metallica very much and here in Turkey they are like the only successful metal band. I go the fucking music store and it's only pop shit and Metallica. If I heard about other things earlier, it could have been different. Oh well, don't waste your time with me.
i dont listen to a lot of music ill be real, but ur music taste ir far from mine. I listen to random shit n I love the classic Stamp on the ground LMao..
usually just listen to soundtracks/music from Vikings. Can just listen to certains shit while playing without losing focuse. lifes hard
Didn't intend to sound mean. I don't mind at all or consider it a waste of time to browse through all my music to see if I have something someone else will enjoy.
But well, my experience was different, everybody put Metallica so frequently (think 50% Metallica, 50% everything else), despite having more options both in diversity and quantity that, while I liked them fine in the beggining, I quickly got sick of them. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I mean, Metallica is the only band in history for me that produced not one, not two, but 5 albums which I like every single song of. That's just something else.
whats with "had listened other stuff earlier" lol, my music taste changes all the time until now, im always listening to new shit
i kinda love game soundtracks and this is not for my general taste but i kinda love it
Be prepared for death metal spam;
Eternal Torment (my band lel)
Odious Mortem

Defeated Sanity
Abnormality (only chick metal vocalist I actually like)
Bloodtruth
Origin
Krisiun
Beyond Creation
Cenotaph
Lost Soul
Hideous Divinty
Hour of Penance
Trauma (Poland)
Hate (Poland)
Arkaik
Dim Mak
Cryptopsy
Deeds of Flesh
Aborted
Amon Amarth
Anata
Decrepit Birth
I got plenty more if this is your kinda shit.
@sam
"I can't just go on and listen to every song one by one though right?"
Collection albums, or 'best of [insert artist]' are a good place to start.
Apparently you can link more than 2 youtube vids in one post now wooo.
I had a weeb hype up rock anime play list, but recently been listening to a lot of hip hop, like Joey Bad@ss, Logic, Yung Lean, and lots of pro era, weird. A few weeks before that it was nothing but math rock, metal core, and stuff like that.
Damn, your guys taste in music is weird, i'm pretty open though.
@yorkey i dont usually listen to that, this is my most listened playlist as of late https://open.spotify.com/user/12145871051/playlist/6odYHPmyPXCLPZXmKSlRHu
My Chemical Romance
Fall Out Boy
Panic! At the Disco
Audioslave
New P!ATD album called 'death of a bachelor' is amazing
Trivium are pretty close to what you might be looking for, better thing to do is post a couple songs/artist that you like and people can work out what to share from that
Queensryche for some opera vocals in prog metal (before the album Empire)
Sabaton for some heavy hitting power metal (not the gay kind) album Heroes or song Panzerkampf
Motörhead for typical NWOBHM (RIP Lemmy) recommended album Bastards or song Ace of Spades
Enjoy!
These are my favourites as of late, there is not really a clear pattern though.
Kappa, I was gonna recommend 3 inches but seems you've already heard them.
I listen to such conflicting genres it's hard for me to remember which ones were similar but asides from the ones listed above I used to listen to
Amon Amarth, Slayer, Saxon, Motorhead, Dragonforce, Danzig etc follow the old school type of sound.

Yo guys, I need some new music. Please make it be between 1970-1990s and if later, make it be a type of rock or metal, maybe punk. Even blues/jazz/folk is fine, but please no pop/weeabo shit.
