I don't think Zeus suits Sumail, but you can't forget that his QoP's game was terrible. He lost mid way too hard. Puck wins vs QoP, but he shouldn't solo kill him before lvl 6 & out last hit so hard.

He doesn't suck. It happens in sports all the time. A new talent appears on the scene, dominates for his first few tournaments because they are talented but mainly because they are unknown and not studied/respected as much as established stars.
They get found out quickly, fade for a few seasons then either come back as a more rounded finished article if they graft or get forgotten as a flash in the pan.
That's not how DotA works, it's not like a skilled player is going to win more by playing more skill demanding heroes.
road to oblivion - it actually might work that way. If he doesn't find playing Zeus "fun", he might underperform on him. Zeus has nearly zero potential for outplaying enemy, so he won't shine on heroes like Zeus as much as on hero like Ember. Great Ember can solo carry the game, great Zeus not as much. Not to mention Mario is boring as fuck to play. If I played Mario I would probably lose to a 3k player, even though I'm 5k+, coz I would just sleep playing him & don't care at all.

The problem is just that storm, lesh etc have all been nerfed. Much harder to win against skilled opponents when you can't just rely on OP heroes to win the game for you.

Well Sumail is sick, not everyone is gonna have great games, ESPECIALLY, ESPECIALLY playing in front of thousands of people who will judge your every action, and 4Head you the moment you miss a shackle shot. Of course, that's no excuse to play bad if you're sponsored and getting payed to play this game for a living, but still. He probably thinks Zues is boring as fuck, cause he is, whenever I don't have fun, I tend to not try or focus quite as much as if I was playing a hero I actually do like.

Havoc Badger - stupid or you use Starladder as a training to win a bigger tournament - Major. I think that was EG's plan - play against what they think is Alliance's strongest heroes, get experience from it & rape them when it matters (Major).
