null 2 branch 2 pooled tangoes (buy a set instead of the branches if your team decides not to pool you), then go into a midas fs, then proceed to sheepstick shivas then refresher/aghs. I think inserting a rod of atos/bkb would be nice depending on situation. For skill builds, i think the optimal way to build him is to max his W and E as early as possible, unless you wanna go DotA 1 Mushi style and opt to get early points in orb.
midas is waste of that early-game ganking dmg potential of his.
go null->boots->force staff->treads and gank other lanes instead of farming. late game for sure hex/shivas
max astral, ulti and aura first but do take one point in orb at lvl 5 or 7
I usually get;
Starting items: Tangos, Mantle, Magic Stick, 2 branches
Then: Finish Magic Wand, get Null, Bottle, and Treads
Force Staff for Mobility, and Orchid if you want to be a carry and pick off players, or Vyse if you wish to teamfight, but get both in the end.
After that get Agh's and Shivas, only get refresher if you are fed.
As for the skill build, level your W and E. Get your Orb if the mid lane is aggressive or if you want to teamfight earlier. (Around Level 7)
If its not, then get your orb around Level 9 or 10, or even once you get a base mana pool of 1100.
