Watch how agressif played in last ti and the differences from the rest of the same role. Thats what make a player the best! Not the role but the quality!

when you judge a persons ability, the best would usually show when things aren't going as good as you expect them to. So id say that to perceive what it takes to be the best, you would have to look at how you react and execute during the most difficult moments that'll make the difference.
You need a really good mix of mechanical skill and game sense, that's when you become one of the best in any role.
It takes a bit of experience to be a perfect dota 2 player:
Perfect micro, decision making, planning and execution. Good foresight too. a 15 year old wouldn't understand.

Being a frustrated MMR climber myself, I want to "document" an intellectual way on how to gauge one's Dota 2 skill.
"THE GUIDE"
Objective
- Assess a Dota player's skill in all dimensions and know the strengths and weaknesses
- To be able to do self-evaluation by using "the guide" and watching replays
