You're a walking ward for your team. Scout ahead for the enemies positions so that your allies know when to attack. When a fight breaks out, you pickoff the person too far away from the team or the squishy support. Throw your smoke screen on their right click carry so they miss their attacks

Get to level 6, hunt those noobs farming in the jungle, get diffusal blade and pop the smoke then purge them, kill more noobs till they buy gem and dust.

It is not the best hero for higher brackets but in your area I'd say you are immortal. lel

Actually purging before smoke is better. But it wont matter anyway, 400 mmr lel.
Max backstab, then invis, then smoke. Ulti whenever you can. Know when to gank when to farm. Riki is still a carry, he actually needs items to be useful, especially late game. Also, scout enemy inventory for that dust/gem/sentry, doubt they would buy it, but just to be ready for it.

Oh item builds, PT, diffusal, Manta/SnY, basher, skadi/butterfly +1 or just both.

Also, remember you can purge dust with manta or diffusal blade. By purging i mean it nullifies the effect so basically you remain invis and they cant see you

Another tip: Your illusions have your passive, so in your games you could probably bait an ult or something similar with a manta illu (or rune). Or a dust if they actually buy it (dust has a very long cooldown).

just build treads diffu then any agi items if necessary go bkb i rly dislike basher because in most cases they cant tp away anyway and items that give you a lot of agi get you more dmg

Pick Riki when they pick snp and cm. Keep hunting them "only". Make sure they can't fram at nc and the lane. That's my skill~

Remember your backstab works vs creeps to speed up farming. You can probably go treads, diffusal, butterfly rush or yasha/manta/s&y then butterfly.

As a riki player i can give you a few hints. Go solo offlane. Make this build : invis, backstab, invis, smoke, invis, backstab, blink, invis, max backstab, max smoke. I do not agree with smoke at lvl 2 as you are offlane and you are supposed to stay and level up. Taking backstab at lvl 2 could get you some ez last hits. Item build : start with tangos, 2 slippers of agi , 1 mango and 1 branch. Finish poor man shield, orb of venom and brown boots. Try to finish difusal until 15 min, then buy items depending on heroes you are against. Remember you can purge dust, slardar's and bounty's ulti. Once you have your difusal start ganking and create space for your team. If the enemy team does not have high disables get yasha then finish treads, then basher into abysal. If you die a lot instead of basher finish sny. Ez pz.

Play on Russian server. Invisible = invincible

as a riki player it's hard for me to cope with the changes he received in 6.83. His build back then was pretty straightforward, now i have no idea how to build him.

go offlane, once lvl 5 / 6 , gank mid using smoke screen along with mid hero.

once blink is out, find oponent teams weak support / paper heroes and farm them

skill build against opponents that are mostly ints/agis
2 3 1 3 3 4 - > max invis > smoke

skill build against opponents with hard hitters (such as bristle , sven etc)
max invi first instead of backstab

item build
starting item - stout, two branch , 1 obs, 1 set tangos

venom orb & poorman shield
magic stick
power treads

if opponents have more heroes agi / int (sniper,cm or many weak support)
- go yasha > basher > sny > bkb

if opponents alot of hard carries / spirit breaker etc
- go diffusal > basher / sny > bkb

^why would you not get diffusal agaings agi/int ? you obviously do not use diffusal defensive. Imo diffusal is the best item for riki as you can use it :
1. offensive and provides you a slow in smoke to burn more mana/hit more while the vs hero is smoked.
2. defensive provides you purge that can remove dusts, amplify and track
3. provides great agility gain -> you deal more damage -> upgrade to diffusal gives you the best agi you can get at that gold
4. provides you some mana which lacks on riki
second point of view -> why would you not get mango ? provides regen to stay longer in offlane and can be consumed for mana which lacks on riki.
I sometimes build 2 diffusals if the game is hard and i use all charges from diffusal 1 and 2 and cannot make abysal in time.

diffusal is quite overrated because honestly most of the time riki has enough damage when played as core, + you have no issue keeping up with them most of the time

bulk is more useful in general (e.g. sny, bkb skadi etc), don't get me wrong diffu is a great item and scales well with riki but other items let you snowball better unless you're basically steamrolling them, or have very specific spells you need to purge off (or they get mass ghost/euls scepters)

fairly sure the build is max backstab into max invis for this hero, you give invis abit higher priority if ure playing offlane

get one in invis then max smoke and stats build dagon

Hmm soo I have never really tried playing Riki and I am at 3.4 k now should I even bother to spend the time to learn how to play him? I kinda wish I learned to play him whn I started at 2k flat lol.
