DD_518 - Yeah good players counter pick but is that an advantage when u have 4 ego teammates ALL wanting to play either:
1. Carry
2. Mid
So you have 4 carries / 4 mid heroes, hows that working out. Therefore SD is more balanced coz you are guaranteed to get a bit of everything.

Single draft is probably the most unbalanced draft other than all random. You think getting all carries is bad in all pick? What happens when single draft is like spectre, chen and beastmaster for picks? Hello spectre pick.
I personally liked random draft. It's basically the all pick we have now but with less heroes. So it can be a little more lopsided like if there's only two good supports or whatever, but it removes a lot of imba played ever game picks too so it's worth it.

not much difference between just waiting for last pick meepo. At least you could outright ban meepo and bloodseeker and all the other bullshit heroes.
That's why I like it help I'll first pick everytime to not have to do with bloodseeker. This is more out of convenience not because the hero scares me that much.

Dire Wolf - Lol youre just right now proving WHY Single Draft is great. You have a team with supports, tank and mid hero? You pick Spectre to suit that lineup. You have a hard carry already, and need some pushing capability as well as a support? You pick Chen. You have a team full of squishy supports and a squishy carry on baby lane? You pick beastmaster.
Single draft should be the new punishment for low priority or all random death match at least.

That's never how it works, people always pick their favorite hero of the three. You might be three supports and not want to play support, or everyone might get melee or two carries and one shitty support no one wants. Single draft is far more unbalanced.
And everybody always picks their favorite hero in All Pick so whats the difference? The only difference is that here people cant pick ego coz they only get 3 heroes instead of the total pool
The difference is in all pick I have three or four go to supports I'm willing to play, even if I prefer to play carry. In single draft if you give me like rubick, or kotl, yuck, I am never picking him.
However that said if it were a ranked mode I would probably play it every 10th game or so to break up the monotony.

And that's basically what random draft was, only no bans of course and everyone choosing their own hero. Your "bans" were basically picking heroes before other team could. It was a great mode. I mean even all pick but with a random 10-15 heroes from each attribute would be fun.

All Pick is the worst mode ever. Cant stand that mode. Ive suggested All Pick One Ban 3 years ago lol. No outcome :)

To me, Single Draft is the only balanced game mode along with Captains Mode. Many consider it "luck" in all random what you get and that may very well be true, but in single draft when you get an Agi hero, a str hero, an int hero you can defintely make a balanced team out of that and it has nothing to do with luck. All Pick is really terrible, everyone picks with their ego, either its "stomp" hero picks like bloodcyka, leshrac, lina, gyrocopter or "international wannabes" like tusk, storm, qop, bh or its just a 5 carry ego game. Whereas in single draft its much more likely ull end up with a balanced team instead of 5 carry picks. So i dont understand why its not possible to play ranked.
