Shit questions about the TA in General Discussion
turbo player

Hi guys, i'm a shitty player with 1k4 solo and 1k8 party ranked. There is some thing I noticed when viewing the pros's dotabuff but I dont really understand so I want to ask.

Why some of them change the build from 3-1-1 to 3-0-2 ? 1 more point in 3rd makes TA range almost doubled, but why it becoming a trend recently ? Is this for farming purpose ? So if TA need farm that much, until when should TA just focus on laning and ignore the other lanes ?

And when is the right time to drop blink dagger for bigger items ?

Thanks for any help, i'm noob and appreciate any thought

Check Wagamama's indeph guide to TA, he will tell you why
      Never drop the Blink Dagger

      Mokujin

You can get different boots and play both with or without Blink, it depends on the enemy heroes.
The only core item is desolator which you want to get early.

2nd point in side blades is very good for harassment (it synergizes well if you start with wraith band).

        Look at me, Hector.

use refraction when u see ur creeps getting close to ur t1 during laning stage and stack ancients after you hit 6 when you try to kill or actually kill enemy mid

          enjoy ur 6k mmr rly

          Livin' Real Good

I think it's become a trend cause Wagamama talked about it like twice on Twitch in the past few weeks (both times he had like 9000 viewers, so shit spreads) so people probably just copied him. Even before he said it, i was already putting at least two levels into Psi blades to begin with, her range is just too shit without it, and PSI blades are so good for harassment that cost no mana to use seeing as it's a passive. I guess just lowering your chance to miss an early game MELD is also nice too.

you dont plan out whether you want to go 311 or 302, it depends on how the lane is going, as well as the matchup

you decide when you hit level 4, whether the lane is won or not
if you are winning the lane hard, going 311 allows you to push the advantage harder
if the lane is hard, 302 might be the better choice since it strengthens your laning; meld at level 4 adds practically nothing to your laning for most matchups, while making it slightly more troublesome for supports to gank you (you make your own judgement call)
even for most 311 games, i hold the skill point (301) until the moment i sense a kill opportunity, cuz apart from laning, level 2 psiblades help quite abit for stack clearing
also 2 level of psiblades doesnt cripple your mid game(more levels of it does) because level 2 traps are pretty underwhelming so you can go 442 build with 1 point in traps and be perfectly fighting fit (important since level 11 is a long level you will be cuz of the exp bridge for 12)
whether you want to focus on laning or helping other lanes depends on how you want to read the lanes, if you anticipate higher pressure on your side lanes you can go fighting build like phase/treads dagger or phase drums then yea sure be always ready to tp.
if you go like treads/phase deso rush then porting in is highly likely wasted time, again make your own judgement. shes excellent at killing the t1 tower when the enemy mid goes to help other lanes though
before either drums/blink shes pretty underwhelming at cleanups though, unless enemy are retards and continue diving.
dont think you should ever drop dagger
