@ywn u dont need to stress test it now from that pic with ur temps everything is clear, it's overheating :D u will stress test it after to check if it's running fine, now just clean the dust from ur heatsink/apply new paste or w/e is causing it to overheat.
to stress test idr exactly don't have it installed rn, but when u open it go for "tools" I think and find "system stability test" should be called sth like that and check boxes with "stress cpu" "stress fpu" " stress cache" and click "start" after 5-10 mins temps should be stable and then just click on "stop" and check ur hwmonitor for the temps. Altho u can see it in aida 64, I just preffer hwmonitor for monitoring as u can see a lot more stuff.
I can't tell u man u have to tell me what cooler u have is it stock intel one? cuz u just have to idr press or sth and it just comes off, I haven't used stock cooler like ever, and it was a really long time I was touching stock intel cooler, don't remember how do u remove it xd
u can buy paste its not expensive. get arctic silver if u can find it
also u should take the cpu out and remove the dust with one of those air puffer things idk what theyre called like in enlgish. dont vacuum it. and u can also clean it with rubbing alcohol
there is a posibility ur pump might have just died and ur cooler is fucked, u just have to download some monitoring utility from corsair I guess and see if ur pump is working, ur rpm should look sth like this on ur pump
also when u stress test ur cpu if ur radiator is really really hot after some time ur pump is dead 100%, if u have a stock intel cooler somwhere or any other just put it on and test ur temps, but u will need new paste for it.
ayy lmao. I member when my laptop would reach 100 gpu temp and stop counting above it but keep running. It could easily burn your hand if you put it behind the laptop
do u have any side fans in ur case? like in the front or at the top? (i assume not at top since ur radiator should be there) cause if u dont then the 2 fans in that pic are probably the fan on the back and the pump
u can also maybe check the fan speeds in ur bios depending on what motherboard u have. tho some of them have some stupid shit where it doesnt show it if it is connected to a molex from the psu instead of the motherboard.
I have my cpu overclocked really far and my water temp is 40c max and the pipes are barely warm, if urs are hot like w/e u feel its 60c 70c or w/e it means ur pump is dead, check the wires, maybe some connector is loose or sth if everything stays the same rma ur cooler if its still under warranty idk about corsair but nzxt gave me 6 year warranty, so just check.
i know something was bad afeect i knew it =)
how come it just change from 1 day to another tho like yesterday everything was gucci

do u have to screw shit out to clean it or what, also i dont have any thermal paste rn
can i still do smth?
anyway gn and gl, hope u fix it, I'm off to sleep someone will help u here prob :D
YO if u remove the heatsink rn I DONT RECOMMEND U TO TURN ON UR PC BEFORE U REAPLY THE PASTE!!

u only need to screw something if it's aftermarked cooler.
does ur cooler look like this?
ok so ur watercooled xd
then what
there is a posibility ur pump might have just died and ur cooler is fucked, u just have to download some monitoring utility from corsair I guess and see if ur pump is working, ur rpm should look sth like this on ur pump
if it's 0 then rip
u can also check it by ur liquid temp, cuz it should rise a lot higher and faster if ur pump isnt working in theory.
Yea at this point I really doubt it's thermal paste and most likely ur pump just died XD
can u help me which program i can use to monitor it? i have no idea how to search for these things tbh
https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/downloads should be this icue

basically if ur pump is working fine water temps shouldn't go over ~40c if it's 60c or w/e rip
is this how you play meepo nowadays?
yeah u just buy full wraith bands and stack stats
how much stats does a gem give you
or two gems
idk kev
where the fuck can i see the water temp
what gem are you talking about
u dont need water temp u need to see wether ur pump works or not. which idk if u can see in this pic. depends on what motherboard fan 1/2 are
idk kev
how the fuck i check my pump
do u have any side fans in ur case? like in the front or at the top? (i assume not at top since ur radiator should be there) cause if u dont then the 2 fans in that pic are probably the fan on the back and the pump
this is all it shows
i only have 1 big fan (and 2 on gpu ofc)
u can also maybe check the fan speeds in ur bios depending on what motherboard u have. tho some of them have some stupid shit where it doesnt show it if it is connected to a molex from the psu instead of the motherboard.
so if u only have 1 and that pic shows 2 working then id assume ur pump is wroking. maybe the cooling system isnt the issue
the pipes/wires from my fan are really fuciign hot tho
ye idk since ive never had water cooling.
at this point u could just try to change the paste and see if it does anything, or lower the voltage&frequency from the bios.
I have my cpu overclocked really far and my water temp is 40c max and the pipes are barely warm, if urs are hot like w/e u feel its 60c 70c or w/e it means ur pump is dead, check the wires, maybe some connector is loose or sth if everything stays the same rma ur cooler if its still under warranty idk about corsair but nzxt gave me 6 year warranty, so just check.
i took the fan off and cleaned the grill there was a lot of dust that i hadnt been able to get to before so lets see
everythings running better so far and cpus dropped to about 80 degrees
of true sight™
lol
monkaMEGA
accurate
straight faxxx
Gem doesnt give stats obviously
I can confirm this statement
