first you need your friend to dl the replay from his own account, then transfer it to you. then you watch it from the downloaded tab. if it doesnt work, launch dota with the console enabled and use playdemo replays/123456789.dem (123456789 being an example of match id)

It said the game ID access was denied, and I can't download from his profile because it was not a public game or I wasn't in it.
My friend is playing at an internet cafe in a lan, and he just won.
Just curious to see if there is a solution to get the demo.
