I don't know, I have from experience noticed that some of the better Invoker players like to keep it simple. Most of these "Top Play" style Invokers are massively inefficient with their skills and just refresh and blow everything which looks cool and amazing but is a really inefficient way to play, and investment of items.

I mean even the currently best ranked on by Dotabuff standards just does whatever http://www.dotabuff.com/players/61061435 none of this flashy shit just solid playing and building what he wants.

I agree that Aghs Refresher build is only for youtube videos and there are better items.
With octarine core I would even skip Aghanim

He press keyboard skills and items so fast when i see spell icons

Invoker is the most boring hero to have in a ordinary game regardless which team he is in.
(I never play him, people seem to think he is fun too play)

He is basically a useless mid hero in the sense that mid heroes should usually start creating space at lvl 6-7. Still, he is there 50% of the games. And just staying there and farming.

And when he reach around lvl 20 and have his items then he is just OP. Killing you with 2-3 clicks even if you have 100% hp. Which he can only do if the other 4 players created space for him and basically won the game for him. If his team fail to do this, then Invoker usually just feed.
