Well, i sold my account and i dont have an account now. So I have to do it anyways :) I sold it on 4900 when i took a break. Was an only dota account anyways.
I don't know how high the initial anti-smurf calibration goes for unranked. But it at least goes to 4K MMR. And if you can play 130 games before calibration for ranked then you could, in theory calibrate at 7k MMR for ranked if you had a 100% winrate while winning all the games in under 15 minutes.
Fast wins = fewer battle points/MMR. So you have to not only win all the games, but win them extremely fast to start ranked with a super high MMR if you want to do it at level 13. But you could wait longer and just play unranked for a long time and try to reach super high MMR that way.
I suspect this will not work because the top players play almost all their games ranked. So it probably is not possible to gain MMR from your opponents above some undefined limit in unranked games. It may be that you can only advance past 5k after going to ranked games.
Ah cool, my friends scared me :D. I dont have a booster so i think it will take sometime to reach lvl 13 since i am only lvl 6. %70 winrate so far though. Above 4500 or 4500 ish will be fine for me. I can go to 5k through that bracket but i certainly dont wanna climb from a 3800 ish bracket :D
Well I would but whats the point of doing that. I rather quit dota before trying to climb from a sea of cancer :D
Some people think they are 1K higher mmr. Or they fell from x mmr to y mmr and really wanna experience x again. As long as there are these tryhards people will continue to sell accounts. From what I hear it only takes them 1-2 months to smash a 4-5k mmr back down to 2-3k mmr.

Hello,
So i was wondering, some of my mates told me that you cannot get calibrated @ 5k anymore. Is that true? Also some told me that even well known skilled players get calibrated at 3800 mmr? Is that true?
