Never unranked is more cancerous when I have. Usually always stacked games.

Unranked seems like waste land. All people that care are in ranked. Winning 50/0 ? NP throw it ! :D

Unranked games are the worst shit ever if you care about winning. You can get seriously ill by playing them, unless ofc you dont care about winning and you just play casually and troll.

I think I actually see more tryharding in unranked than ranked.

I would never play solo in unranked. There's just no incentive for me to do it.

what i noticed in unranked is that people that can't win in ranked tryhard in unranked so they can win sometime. If you don't care about losing then its chill but if you get frustrated over someone being such an ass, delaying the game (turtling, CM tactics, highground defense and shit) and only playing for the win (not what unranked is for) then don't even bother playing unranked (my case).

I always solo unranked. Am I wierd.

usually unranked comes up as a surprise when im in a stack.
and the ones im stacking with do all the possible and the impossible to lose that game, things like randoming brood and meepo after lich and shaker on the enemy team, and then swapping meepo with me, making me tryhards just to lose 50 minute games.
thats usually what happens, kappa.
oh and my solo unranked is around 2500 mmr, just like my initial mmr, so if i really need to win for one reason or another (like farming charms, which i used to do) i can just go there and watch a movie and win relaxed.

actually almost won that game, and i would have if the just did as i asked :P

play unranked....played like 50 gmaes ranked was fun but couldnt be bothered having to try so hard every single game to climb urself out...you make one mistake and lolz -25 mmr too lazy

unranked has no meaning to it, you get bored after 100 games.
i would quit dota if it were only unranked, long ago tbh.
ranked is the only thing compelling to me, and keeping me playing this game.
if you lose you want to get it back, if you win - you want to win more.

and by the way, a win in unranked is like nothing,
while i highly enjoy winning in ranked (and trashtalking scrubs) and dislike losing.

Ive told noobs exacly what to do to win, but fucking sniper thinks he is good and throws after bb ... Dear god such scum should be bannable....

Biggest problem with normal is:

1) You get games where u are just supposed to win no matter what you do (retarded valve system)
2) You get games where u are supposed to LOSE no matter what you do. Even if u tell noobs where to ward, where to deward, where to smoke, where to gang, where to push and what EXACLY DO to win. Fuckers will not listen, thinking they know how to carry this. And you LOSE :( Worst problem is NO SOLO QUEUE. Idiot stacks of 3-4 ppl will always think they are better... even if later on after checking theirs stats on dtb they suck cock.

Unranked 5 man stacking is pretty much the only way to still have fun when playing dota in my experience.

Tryharding and winning is satisfying in solo ranked, but it's not what I would call fun.

no unraked, cz its less interesting, less competitive, there are more leavers, etc.

That's depend on ur skill. If u win 10 matches roll in very high skill bracket, the next match u surely 90% type this word (ggwp / end fast pls / many nub here) :-P. But u lose 10 rmm game and find normal match, u surely thinking about that (im so pro, many f*king nub out there , get out of my way noob). In rmm u solo que ,u never face with 5k , if u 4k solo que u never see 7k player. But unranked, u 100 match stay rolled in vh skill ; u can see 5k or 6k when they find normal or they built smulf. Ranked means ur skill is locked in one room , so hard to escape. Unranked means ur go and check too many rooms where u want to stay ?

Everybody hate desert when they got Oasis. And they forgot Oasis standin desert. :_P

Ranked games are more restrictive because you have to play heroes that:
- Fits well to compliment the team/counterpick opponent if you're not first pick (or you can just first pick troll ...)
- You're at least decent on the hero (no point picking a wisp etc if you can't play it)

Unranked games you're free to play any hero you want. Even if you're not particularly good at the hero (instead of testing out unfamiliar heroes in bot games) or if the hero doesn't fit well into the draft (like Abaddon against Ancient Apparition - really bad choice), or going for an experimental item/skill build that might fail badly ---- there's no pressure because its not ranked.

Time to time you'll also find stacks that're more tryhard in unranked than ranked though.

Prefer ranked since people seem to try harder in ranked. I just use non ranked for ability draft usually.

It depends on how much of a try hard you are. I almost always play unranked with friends, occasionally ranked with friends. Y never play solo though.
