Dotabuff is basically a front end for the Dota2 API, when yearbeast came out they said that the games are passed through the API as normal AP games and there is nothing that differentiates them from other AP games.
Think about it, how can the system pick up if it's a yearbeast or not. Same thing with LPQ games, there is no way for the system to figure out if it was LPQ or normal queue AP, or AR.
Neither should count. How hard is that to accept??
Edit : "there is nothing that differentiates them from other AP games"
Sure, other than a huge fucking beast zooming around and zeus damage in games where zeus isn't played. Tower damage preformed by beasts, IE : Tower takes damage for 194 by lane creep. What fucking lane creep hits for that hard at 8 minutes into the game. There are ways to tell the diff, DB is just too lazy to develop a system which can define the difference.
yeah am fairly sure that it would be possible to identify and exclude 99% of yearbeast games. especially for db+ users with the full game download.

I picked Troll in a YB game, and after losing to the usual zeus madness I noticed my WR dropped from 87.50% to 84.00%, which is rather disheartening considering this mode has nothing to do with ones skill at a hero. This one game might have ruined my chances of making the leader-boards.
These games should count the same as 1v1 practice matches, NOT for hero statistics, the very notion is absurd.
