there was a post here about it recently that got flamed pretty hard, it was a build done by kuroky once
it outclasses bfury for single-target DPS by a significant margin, but is inferior in terms of farm
late game it is not horrible for striking a balance between DPS and pushing over Bfury. Early game... slightly more questionable.
I think it was KKY in CD or something. Lane was rough and supports couldnt do shit so went to make space elsewhere so fury would of been late ish but I don't really play am, I wouldnt be able to say how late is too late. meh

What i think:
Antimage needs regen for be jumping around the map getting farm.
Also try vanguard, drums, vlads, sange and yasha.

@imprecis yeahhh i was noticing that. All the tread swapping inthe worrld doesnt help nearly enough for you to blink around the map and still engage.
Both Mana Break and Mjollnir/Maelstrom are unique attack modifiers. Battle Fury is not, so you are better off with Battle Fury.
Zelda it's been explained to you in the last thread about this. The unique modifiers make no difference for mjollnir.
Proc's are only unique on the attack that they occur and then the override the effect so you can stack them as much as you want. Meaning on the attack that lightning occurs you will not mana break. But they can be used together just fine.
The only unique modifiers from items that are constantly in use and therefore don't stack are lifesteal that aren't auras (dominator, satanic, mask), skadi and desolator. Although lifesteal does stack with skadi, they just don't stack with other things.

The regen from Battlefury and damage are probably for the better over Mjollnir.
I think he got it for the IAS vs medusa here, procs are nice too but the other game I am a little boggled about.

desolator as seventh slot for am is important for breaking buildings ultra-late, it doesnt work on non-structural targets though

People don't understand the Maelstrom/Mjollnir thing on AM. You get Maelstrom (and leave it at that until late game) as a poor man's battlefury (lightning proc helps you farm faster) but you still need some regen in there to sustain yourself in the jungle.
The lightning UAM only overrides manabreak when it procs and does not work on illusions and is basically more damage than manabreak, lightning is 120 magic damage which means 90 damage on most heroes due to 25% magic resistance whereas manabreak is 38 physical damage which gets reduced by armor.
You upgrade the Maelstrom later in the game after you get a Manta and other items you need (bkb/heart/basher/abysal/butterfly). The synergy between butterfly + mjollnir and basher is very good, turns you into permabashing alchemist.
I think u can always go linken on a mjolnir antimage that would help u with the mana regen for flash farming and some stats and spell block can sometimes be really really helpful specially vs a doom or a legion even a bloodseeker that would camp ur jungle to kill u while farming sorry for my bad english :D
