I was like 8k at a peak, top 500 us. It was literally about a year ago. 3.4 mil users. I could HD/HR most Insane maps. I wasnt wubwubwolf or some shit but I was VERY decent at osu. My 15k screenshot now is unranked because they have changed the ranking system so much to where it's based on activity and score.
Nunuban is literally wave of osu general chat, a community full of elitists that if you didnt like the music/anime/maps/tablet resolution they did you were trash tier. The community is literally as bad as dotas. I dont expect you to know about the indepth aesthetics of the elitist clique community but it really isnt pretty.

I'm just saying I looked up your stats. Your best map ranks in at roughly 59pp which is actually 7 lower than Salza's who you were poking fun at ;p The new ranking system is actually based heavily on general difficulty of the song/combo/accuracy(in that order) and not activity. You only need to play a song...every like 90 days I think to stay ranked? But anything beyond your top 100 scores has such an insignificant impact on your rank that they don't even list them(and quite frankly...anything beyond 30 is pretty dam low impact). For the record I have a friend around 15k(that was close to 10k a couple months ago) whose highest song ranks in just shy of 130pp for a reference of how much harder it is now to get into that top 10k.
As for ingame chat...I can't say I've ever really looked at it. The couple times I glanced at it, it looked like a bunch of retards spamming >.>;

^This here netted me about 90pp. My accuracy is god awful(especially by community standards holy crap they'd eat me alive if I showed them that number @.@ ) so it's not close to the potential the song can give.
While some of what you're saying is true scoring changed as did points/ranks and what not. Please dont compare year ago records to new stuff. It's not really equal or relevant in any manner. It's like saying dota1 and dota2 are the same game, sure.... but not really... PPscoring changed as did many another thing.
DT/NC insane songs were not out of the question on alot of insane maps. I was preeeeeeeeeeetty decent.

I know scoring has changed, it's become quite a bit tougher to get higher ranked these days. I believe in the old system I was like 50/60k and after it changed(which we were unranked during the change but continued to play) I was somewhere in the ballpark of about 90k. Insanes aren't really impressive anymore :\ most songs now have quite a few difficulties above that(extra, another, hyper, 0108). I mean some of the old songs that were known for difficulty still are(Big Black and Scarlet Rose for example), but those have just been deemed as the tipping point for when you become "good" now by that elitist community >.>

Don't worry about accuracy yet ;p you won't need to above 90% until hp drain gets to at least 8 and by the time you get there, your accuracy should have naturally come up to that point.
Did you play a lot offline or something melody? Because your stats suggest you couldn't even 35% big black xP
