if you lose a team fight that late in the game against a hero like drow (or any hero(es) that can take down towers quickly) you lose the game. That's pretty much it. That is why in pro games you will see people, mostly cores saving for buy back instead of picking up another item, although in some cases they will decide that it will be more beneficial to pick up that item than save for buy back.
You should not have lost this game. You are basically facing a 1 core team, you alone should be able to pick off 3 heroes with just your ultimate, and can pretty much wreck Drow with manta, you have a bat and sven stun which should be enough to easily kill her.
