often when I'm on 7+ winning spree.
It's because odds are extremely against your favor.
It's because you are in a sense that you need to make big impact in every game.
Eventually you won't be able to make big enough impact to cover up teammate's shit.
It's pretty easy to achieve 5-7 winning spree solo if you are better and having good day but beyond that you need some kind of luck if you aren't playing stack.
No matter how good you are, there is limit to how much a player can make an impact to the game (usually 2/5 or 3/5 even if you stretch far)
I mean, playing solo have extremely high uncertainty compare to party matchmaking.
If someone is having higher than 13+winning spree, I'd suspect either the player is smurfing (stomping players far below his real mmr) or playing in party or extremely rare case.
I'm absolutely certain if I see 13+ winning spree record on someone's dotabuff profile with below 1000 matches played, the player is either smurfing or playing in party or both.
I dare you to post a non-smurf/non-party player dotabuff profile with 13+winning spree record with below 1000 matches played.
It's extremely rare to achieve 13+winning spree record below 2000+match solo unless you are playing in party or smurfing or both.
You'd have to be next level dota god to achieve something like 20+ winning spree in solo matchmaking without any abuse.
Just know you are going to lose eventually, I had an 11 streak the other day and was the 12th I couldn't carry the team and we lost. Streak ended and was almost a relief, back to zero and start again.
your chances to lose dont increase every game beyond the minute effect of having marginally stronger opponents
flipping 7 heads in a row is unlikely enough in itself, obviously you'll get tails sooner or later
also what the fuck am i the only one that thinks that ogre is op? i mean imo he made us lose the game (that and veno and my itemization), i had so much momentum got first blood got midas and boots 5 minutes things were looking up. then this bastard shows up in lane multicasts me once, undying casts tomb and suddenly im fucking dead.

Ok, it's not really ladder anxiety but you know when you have a high win streak and suddenly you get the "oh god i don't want to lose". On a 10 win streak right now and i can't help but feel something awful is about to happen.
