Black Hole doesn't summon a new pulse, it just does the damage to enemies inside it.
^ His maths are actually correct. It's the theorycrafting part that's a bit fucked. There's always a scumbag sniper ready to interrupt Enigma's ulti.
Edit: Also yeah, Aghanim's adds the midnight pulse damage to your black hole. Not sure if it's still Universal though.
what i mean is, you won't have the time to cast the second midnight pulse inbetween black holes because people will run away, and this is assuming you get lucky and get the first midnight pulse off of malefice or good positioning
his cast point is 0.3 and most heroes within 0.6 seconds will have some sort of skill to either get away or cc you
Of course there is a counter to this strategy as there is a counter to any strategy out there. Venge swap, good positioning, silencer ulti, even sniper.
I'm not saying this is an instant win, nor is it uncounterable. What i'm saying is, if you do land, it's insane amounts of damage, enough to kill any hero that has normal magic resistance. Aghs is legit on enigma.
Edit: Even better now that 6.81 buffs midnight pulse AOE
I think Enigma's strength lies in his ability to surprise people with a black hole. In theory, this can work, but I doubt you'll be able to place 2 midnight pulses (let alone one) because by the time you do that, your opponents will be out of your ideal black hole position.
I mean aghs refresher on enigma is still probably a gg win you just won't 1v5 their entire team. But you'll win team fights.
By the time you're halfway done with even the refresher or finished Aghs, the game has probably been decided. But I do say it would make for a great highlight if the game was that much closer and Enigma turns the tables with double ults to win your team the game.

Enigma with Aghs + Refresher can kill any hero that has the normal 25% magic resistance, BKB doesn't even matter since the damage type is universal. The only thing that can affect this is magic resistance, so results will vary for heroes like AM and Huskar.
So basically this allows you to cast midnight pulse two times, + two black holes that carry midnight pulse for 4 seconds.
4 seconds of standing in a midnight pulse = 21% of max health after magic resistance.
So you cast midnight pulse, and use black hole. That's 42% of max health gone.
Black hole ends, you refresh, and do the same thing, so that's 42% more.
However first midnight pulse still has 4 seconds of duration left, so 21% damage.
That is 105% of guaranteed damage, given you land black hole and midnight pulse twice. If somehow the enemy is still sitting around for 4 seconds after the second black hole, that is 21% more damage, giving a total of 126% of max health as maximum possible damage.
This doesn't even take into account the black hole damage.
If you don't take magic resistance into account, it deals a total of 140% guaranteed damage, and a maximum of 168% damage. Which can be the exact result if you take veil into consideration.
