Imagine if Necrobook and Dagon were infinitely upgradeable.

Imagine if there was a hero that had a true sight ability and a communications-blocking ability (enemy cannot type, talk, or ping to each other for X seconds)

Imagine if there was a hero that dropped a 'flashbang' - all players' screens go white for x seconds.

Imagine if Vanguard was a bad item.

Except for the second one you put Wink, I sort of lived those.

There was the previous dota1 Ogre Magi Aghanims which gave a possibility for a x5 multicast (albeit, in a time when Ogre Magi's ulti didn't increase the chance for multicast, but instead just made it x2, x3 and x4 always respectively).

Treant Protector's Living armor was once an armor and hp regen aura which was global during daytime.

And Aghanim's made most heroes shinier in dota1. I still question Valve's decision on not porting this.

^^ That could be done back when she was a he and was first introduced. Couldn't get extra damage from winning those duels but the creep COULD get extra attack if it won the duel :v
