Not sure but it might be if one of your clones dies you dont drop the gem, because you only don't lose bloodstone charges if it's one of the clones who dies
Ya, if the clone dies, the gem is kept. If the clone dies, the bloodstone charges won't go down. If the main is killed, then gem will be lost and charges too.
And when you buy aghanim and dagon ( in this order : null talisman, dagon recipe, staff of wizardy, ogre axe, staff of wizardy and blade of alatricity and point booster ) you get different dagon on every meppo.
Meppo 1 : dagon 1
Meppo 2 : dagon 2 etc, but you get it
