Earth spirit is interesting. His winrate fell considerable in VH games, but his winrate rose considerably between normal and VH. I think normal players became more skilled with him trying to replicate his 6.79 glory, and players with high winrates in VH with the Earth may have dropped from VH to lower brackets.
What happened to lycan, so he has this much wr, after patch. I know his lvl 4 wolvs got buffed, but what else?
Lycan:
Wolves Fade Time decreased from 3 to 1.7
Level 3 Lycan Wolves now have Invisibility
Level 4 Lycan Wolves now have a passive ability that gives them 15 HP regen
The increased fade time combined with huge regen seems to have given him a real edge. I would also guess that this is combined with multiple nerfs to other pushing heroes and items, making lycan a much stronger pusher in comparison.
I have noted high ranked players using lycans wolves to follow opponents without attacking recently. A trick I was not aware of and is actually pretty cool.

yeah concede was right, scouting with wolf using two wolves at the same time u have two sight on two enemies heroes which mean can make huge advantage in war.
And also 15 regen hp is so damn good, u can do two neutrals at the same time, also with medal u can rs solo at minute 8 as long as u get medal vladmir and level 4 wolf.

how do you feel about still getting necrobook? Given the recent nerfs to the book, I have started to have reservations about necro 3, especially in the pro scene. I find that a team that is being pushed can use the necro 3 creeps being throw against them to their advantage. Killing those necro minions max level is 200 gold bounty each. 400g is a really large boost to a team that is turtling, and can help them initiate a comeback.

BONUS DAMAGE: 15% / 20% / 25% / 30%
2.Howl :

with that two skills in lycan , I think making necrobook in early game is a must, My build usually Medal>vladmir>Smoke>roshan minute 8-10> Then necro 3>travel.
With necro 3 and travel what u need to do is saying to your team that they need to buy u some time (distraction) so u can push enemy base as soon as the war start.
So basically, u avoiding war and just do pushing which mean your necrobook cant get killed. Also dont forget killing one of the necrobooks give them 600 damage no matter they bkb or not (once again, 600 damage, and i think pure damage.)
As the opposite, if the enemy pushing your base. u can travel to their base (u can travel to your wolf) to buy time for your teammate (Usually one of your enemies will tele to defend ur base while the others still pushing).
So, the nerf in necrobook doent mean too much in lycan. In my opinion. It still item that u must built considering feral impulse and howl as a great skill to push.
Lycan had 55.xx% win rate before 6.80
the most impactful patch was 6.79
Armor increased by 1 (Shapeshift icon.png Shapeshift total armor is still the same as before).
Base damage increased by 5.
Howl icon.png Howl bonus damage for non-hero units increased from 4/8/12/16 to 5/10/15/20.
Wolves magic resistance increased from 50% to 80%.

^What's so weird about that? BS, WK and even Riki are above Luna as well.
I have always seen omni as an amazing hero with no where to go early game. He can't offlane, cant jungle farm effectively and cant support well in anything but a hyper defensive tri-lane.
This isn't as much of an issue, even in high level pubs
why riki got increase in winrate ?
didn't a buff 6.79->6.80
and lycan... strangely the huge nerf to necrobook made lycan even more op in 6.80 . guess NOT BUYING necrobook is BETTER. gold better spent on deso/bkb/ac/basher as the first big items (after vlad and boots)
