I hate event maps. I can't really play on them. They make my head hurt. (Especially that frost map)
yes, played od today and it seemed weird...when the tinker attacked me sometimes I couldn't get vision over him to astral him...i ended up losing a lane to a tinker T_T
yeah the map is horrible and affects my game too... glitches, fucking sounds im like jumping all the time surprised/afraid of dying from what it show itself to be fucking fireworks instead of a gank, etc
and i cant even deselect this trash
Runs perfectly fine for me. I don't notice any difference between the maps. If you experience lag on the theme map you probably don't run normal map good either. Time to buy a new PC?

i felt like the unnecessary fireworks, lantern everywhere and unfamiliar tree colour that can be used by people to hide
those new things, when i place ward somehow i don't know the exact place where i should place it especially on radiant ancient

Seeing all these comments, I guess I'm doing good in playing exclusively AD while the event lasts.
I have a really bad pc, i play at 20 fps in teamfights with the normal map, with the new map its almost imposible to play for me.
It's not even the performance. it just makes my head hurt.
And since valve only listens to "le reddit", i don't see it coming back for the event period anyways.
what makes no fucking sense is that you can select default map in unranked yet in ranked you don't have the option.
just seriously now, how incompetent do you have to be that you can't 'fix' that shit for a week now.
they like patched the game 4 times in a 24 hour span and they still didn't address the issue.
I hope they get paid in beans and potatoes.
