indeed its pretty good the games are way better than before idk if ppl just try too hard to win in ranked games idk. and my rating is 4.2k

im 9wins and 6 loses so far

im 0-3 so far.. 1 loss was acceptable because they executed better clashes against us.

but the other 2 matches, have SF mid fukcing feeding pudge and it was a snowball after that

went 2-2 and the games were OK except the first one. just a random LC takes mid lane and fucks it up.

only ban list can save ranked games

Current RMM is pretty good.

Valve is finally encouraging people to win, and 150 games before starting RMM eliminates smurfs.

Pretty enjoyable experience overall.

Games have been mostly way more competitive. I'd say it's overall better. You can't expect it to be perfect, but it's good.

Bad, always get team that plays like clowns, take mid and feed, etc, supports dont know how to roam around. 4700 mmr btw.

What I want to know is why my group rank is 4187 but my solo rank is 3644? To be fair, this is only after 3 or 4 games of each, but nobody else seems to have such a discrepancy between the two figures.

Played 8, won 3. People do communicate and listen more which is very nice. But every god damn game somebody instalocks Pudge. So annoying.

Trillion, you most likely queue with players a fair bit better than you, and play well with them, compared to your solo performance. The game will account for that when you stack and match you against players that have a chance vs your good coordination

It's decent for the most part and I agree that there are less crappy games but they still exist. However until I see proof I refuse to believe your rating is 4600 Blunt, because I know you're not that good. Perhaps 4k (which is still respectable). I'm not saying this just to shoot you down but you're the ultimate forum troll around here so I'm gonna call bullshit on your stats until proven otherwise.

all my first 4 games have been terrible stomps with ragers except the third one, it just had a legion commander that abandoned while we were winnng and so we lost

It's better than regular MM. People seem a little more considerate of their picks which alone is enough to make the games more fun than before.

I've got to be honest, i don't absolutely think I'm a pro but i consider my self a medium/good player.
After winning 10 out of 10 ranked matches (or maybe was 9, i cant really recall) Ive got a rating of 3300...

I simply refuse to think that i am that bad. I'll be playing only ranked matches apart when my lower level friends are online, and see if it improves.
I mostly play support (if not ONLY), 95% of the time Rubick but again, there's something I'm not getting here. We'll see later on.

As for regarding teaming up, I've noticed a pretty important improvement in the team composition, higher team communication and cooperation, still couple assholes here and there but overall much much better.

The quality of my games has improved A LOT. I played like 11 ranked games so far and only had a retard once. The people are very nice and actually use the voicechat constantly and speak english. The thing that surprised me the most is, that they mostly know how to draft (no Bloodseeker/Drow Ranger bans) and play most heroes well.
My winrate in rankeds has been really nice and I'm rly happy about it.
My tip for you is probably only playing CM and CD in rankeds since the amount of retards is pretty low.
How do I figure out my MMR before reaching the 10 games? I got like 4 duoQ games and 7 solos I think and I would love to know my current one.

As i said, i don't recall perfectly, my games were mixed with those i played with my low leveled friend, I was pretty sure there were more of them. Still there is not need to call somebody a lier.
The profile is there, if i wanted to hide something I would have locked down the profile in the first place.

That is very wierd because you seem to be matched with people who have 3400-3800 rating. Your profile seems to be private too, quite interesting that you get matched up with such low rating ppl :/ (or you lie) I checked four of your matches and there wasn't even a single person with over 4k rating, valve must suck if they match 4,6k constantly with 3,5k guys.

Still haven't gone in yet. Nice to know some people reporting better quality games.

Games are close most of the time, although I lost almost 5 out of 8, I still enjoyed most of them.
Also much more tryharding, ppl tend to listen better to advices.
I still faced a couple of throws.

the system tries to find a good range of players within a reasonable timeframe

for 5.5k+ players the wait time would be insane if you only got 5.5k+ players in your matches the system will grab lower MM and try and balance the teams as much as possible

How do you know the rating of players you've been matched with? So far I added 2, and both have similar rating with me (~50 difference).

Either they should have played the 10 games, or add them and beg them to get their MMRs

Nope. If stats sharing is on, anyone can see it in-game.

Thats something i noticed myself aswell. Many people were still in the calibration phase and therefore peoples mmr were kinda all over the place, but im pretty sure that i did not get matches with someone under 3,7k so far. It seams that benao has the same phenomenon as i do, my guess is that most people on the 4k range are playing the wraith mode or something.

I found multiple people who had under 3,7k rating against/with you. Lowest which I found was 3,3k and highest which I found was 3880.

I have 4350 rating myself (don't have private profile) and I checked my 5 most recent games and I got matched against 4822 top and averaging to 4000-4400.

So I find it quite hard to believe that you have over 200 more ranking than me but you get matched with average 600 ranking lower people.

Might be because I'm playing with 2-4 stacks mostly. You can easily proof my blames false by making your profile not private but before that I must say that I think that you lie.

EDIT: That match you linked was against stack that had quite high skill difference, you can check rest of my games and see that it quite well averages to 4000-4400, there was 4-5 people on my last 5 games with under 4k rating (but still between 3600-4000) if you don't count my friend who has 3981

might be possible, since volvo does make a difference between solo & party mm, yet still mixing it. They did remove the solo queue for some godly reason.

I looked at BogiDoto's 4 most recent games who has 4354 solo rating so he should have worse enemies than you right? Averaging to 4400, top being over 5,25k, lowest being 3,6k and two people being under 4k. I don't know how much stacking he had on those games but still this clearly suggests that he averages to have over 600 higher rating opponents but having 200 less rating than you (atleast what you said)

What are your reasons to have profile private?

there alot of reasons tbh but one of the main one is that my friendslist is rather big, as soon as some people see my rating they would want me to stack with them, im literally getting harrased by invites you would't want to believe it. Basicly its already anoying enough, but as soon as my rating would be visible for them id get even more invites and messages, which is a complete pain in the ass. I was spectating a game and already got 2 invites just while writing this text. (im not kidding). Thats also something you will prolly see when i should stream. Also alot of people ask me for my rating aswell, usually i response '2k'.

Also i really can't tell you why and how this whole thing works. The only thing i can tell you is, that i play with and against a lot of people on caliration and that i even found someone with a 3,1k rating which i faced (lol). If you believe me or not is something for you to decide, since this thread is not about my mmr but your experience with the system so far id say this disscrusion might be abit offtopic.

Im sure we will meet at some point @ pub, since you do play on EU west and have a around 4k rating, until then you may call me a liar.
