How exactly do you play ranked games btw? I didn't see it as another option like "Team Matchmaking".
yes. It's not like you're locked up in one league and you can go up and down on ratings.

That blog post was just preparing us for ranked matchmaking, it isn't actually here yet. It will most likely be implemented with Frostivus around December 18th.
I really hope it uses existing MMR range. If you're underrated, your visible MMR will rise above your invisible MMR and vice versa - if you're overrated, your visible MMR will drop below your invisible MMR. If you're correctly rated, you will lose half of your placement games and both ratings will remain the same.
On the other hand, starting afresh will lead to very many bad placement games and playing support will be a nightmare for those accustomed to high level support play.
^so the guy I play mid with will have an easy time because I play 5 alot?
