you should have went orchid first that match. You cant kill bara, void or batrider without silence.

Didn't watch. But you have 4 farm heavy heros for starter, you built bloodstone first im guessing, if sb was problem should have gotten that linken first, than maybe an orchid for bat. Bloodstone is nice for some hp and lots of mana, but it gives you no cc or damage. Anyway thats just a quickie, someone will give ya more probly.

Thanks, guys, thinking in retrospective, I believe you're correct. I mindlessly went for Bloodstone because of all the guides and games I've watched.

Our picks were far from great, that's true. In all 3 games where I picked Storm, all of the rest team mates went for heroes that would not be useful (and don't really make sense), ex: last picks sniper and night stalker.

^Winter i love storm spirit too .... and i do that mistake too :(. Bloodstone first is not always a good choice .... and in this case where you have to fight early its a problem not having orchid. But i dont think that would matter in that game .... you guys pick where terrible.

I guess before the team fight begins you should jump on chen, silence him , and try to burst him down. KotL and chen are easy targets if you have orchid i think.

I just play him because he is one of the most fun heroes to play with.

Thank you too, Dorkly. Yea, Storm is too much fun to handle! Kind of makes me pissed off that my team had an urgent need to pick 4 carries. I don't really get why it's happening like that :(

Note to self: Think before building an item!

I think your downfall here like a couple people mentioned may have been the bloodstone first. Also you may want to practice dodging with storm using your ult as if timed right can be more imbalanced than pucks phase shift.

I think given the circumstances I would have gone Orchid, Linkens, Sheep and perhaps skipped the Bloodstone phase as no amount of HP/Regen will save you from a 6 Slot Void but the Hex or the Silence may have helped your carries get an advantage.
